When talking about an Israel band we automatically think of Orphaned Land - we mentioned the name before - and fans of this band can buy this album without reading further. A serious part of the atmosphere is present with both bands. Erez said that he needed a very dramatic vocalist to render the story. Well, Mats Levén does an amazing job, no way to put this in words. The music is very cinematic, sometimes almost kitschy. The orchestral arrangements are - in one word - overwhelming. By the way, the trio seems to have composed a soundtrack for a movie recently and you can hear that. In the intro we hear melancholic flutes, a mysterious voice and acoustic guitars. We find ourselves on a market and the next song tells about the slavery of the Israeli people, they suffer under the yoke of the Egyptians.
