Mad Max is a Christian Heavy Metal band from Münster, Germany, that consists of Michael Voss (vocals), Jürgen Breforth (guitars), Roland Bergmann (bass) and Axel Kruse (drums). Mad Max debuted in 1982 with their self-titled album and managed to gain a lot of success in Europe and Japan in the mid-80's before fading away in 1989. Michael Voss and Jürgen Breforth reunited and put out a comeback album in 1999. Six years later the whole band has reemerged again and put out three albums in 2006 and 2007 and Here We Are in 2008.

Mad Max is a very talented group that rocks! Songs like "Never Say Never", "Love Chains", "Rollin' The Dice" and "Voices In The Night" really jam. Also included is a good instrumental called "Return Of The Hunter".
At times comparable to King Kobra and Rough Cutt, the musicianship throughout this album is exceptional. I think Mad Max had the talent and should have received more recognition. Stormchild is worthy of two thumbs up!

Germany’s Mad Max formed in 1981 and recorded four albums before splitting up in 1989, reuniting ten years later. Mad Max has endured many lineup changes, bouts of obscurity and a general lack of interest in music after the ’80s metal scene took its toll on the band. The band’s tenth release, Another Night Of Passion, is a nod toward, as well as a continuance of their 1987 release, Night of Passion.

This one is okay. Again, not Mr Voss' finest work but a good collection of hard stuff. 'Nowhere town' is my fave in this disc and it's nice if you like the heavier side of Voss' work. Good solid hard n heavy CD
