This EP from the Finnish band Domination Black was quite a surprise for me. Basically they play very deliberately paced melodic old school heavy metal with plenty of thrashy riffs. The lead singer is excellent and injects a lot of horror metal vocals into most of the songs. It really works well.
The House of 1000 Eyes leads off the release with special guest Mr. Lordi. We also get a fine cover of the KISS song A World Without Heroes.
