If one thing is certain about the guitarists of this German band, it's that they sure can shred! It takes some guts to name a song "Shred It!," because if you can't pull it off, you're going to look really lame. Well, CODE OF PERFECTION pull it off in spades, shredding circles around most other bands. With any overly-talented Progressive Metal band, though, there is always the worry that it's going to be too good; too much showboating, too much masturbatory solo-ing and too much general wankery. So, with that in mind, I guess the fact that CODE OF PERFECTION have released an album that isn't cold and mechanical is even more impressive than their axework!
