This heavy metal 1989 single kicks off with the title track, “Crazy king”. Those who are familiar with an album called Restless and Wild sure know the song “Fast as a shark” and the magnificent solo it has. Well, that’s how the single begins, with the shiny second part of the solo used as intro lead, although the production for this late 80s single (of course) is much better. With a very sharp lead guitar tone – very Judas Priest’s 80s - the strength of the band is obviously the skilful guitar player, which has excellent soloing skills, but that’s it. That was a very promising start, but you’ll agree with me that this is not enough if you want to go with traditional heavy metal in the late 80s, when everything is pretty much invented.
