This is fucking heavy!! "Sufferman" is the first song on the album that's more heavy metal sounding, and less thrashy - it's pretty epic though and still sounds just the way it should be. Then it's time for pure thrash with "Dead Brain (Extermination)", thrash with even some death metallish vocals! "Coming Soon" even uses blackthrash vocals, though the chorus is clean and much more heavy / power again. It's amazing how this band combines all those styles, and still makes it sound old school and perfectly in order. With "Alltheniko" I have come to my favorite number on the cd. Hyperfast, ultrasharp, crazy solo's and insanely aggressive the 80s way! 'Alltheniko, we will fight! Apocalypse army will die tonight!' After that song, the best songs on the album have passed. "Criminal Mind" is again more epic / heavy, but it suits them better to stick to the more speedy / thrashy parts of heavy metal. The cover of Motörhead's "Ace of Spades" shows that they really get their influence from the old bands, even if their sound isn't really comparable. The cover wasn't necessary for me, but in any way, this debut album kicks ass over almost the whole length it takes.
