Notes:

Side project of Iced Earth's Jon Schaffer and Blind Guardian's Hansi Kürsch. The idea for the band arose in the spring of 1997 when Kürsch and Schaffer wanted to make music together, after being friends since Blind Guardian and Iced Earth toured Europe together in the early 90s. The band name comes from the 1972 Uriah Heep album of the same name.

Mark Prator also did session work for Iced Earth, and Jim Morris is their producer (he has also played lead guitar on a few of their songs).

Demons & Wizards toured the debut album in 2000, with Richard Christy (Iced Earth, drums), Oliver Holzwarth (Blind Guardian, bass) and Ritchie Wilkison (Angel Dust, lead guitar) in support.

There is some contention over the year of the debut album's release. The European version at least came out in 1999.
