Joey Vera's name is synonymous with metal...Armored Saint, Anthrax, Fates Warning, just to name some bands this bass player is associated with on record or on stage. Joey basically wrote this music when Armored Saint dissolved after John Bush departed for Anthrax. Don't expect music in the same vain as those aforementioned bands. This is a solo record, and with open ears and with no expectations it's a pleasant surprise, chocked with rock, acoustic numbers, ballads (WTF?), all of which add up to good songs. John Bush lends his vocals to Replacing You, which is great, and Joey handles all vocals and pretty much all the instruments.
