After the intro "Paint The Devil On The Wall" sets off with good, straight and swift mid-tempo, but after that hell breaks loose: "The Mirror In Your Eyes" thunders full force ahead, almost like in their best times. Still has a lot of melody, but the double-bass are galloping again, the guitars roar, aah, I've waited for this for some time! The whole classical stuff, which had been brilliant on "Lingua Mortis", well integrated on "XIII" and just ballast on "Ghosts" has been thrown over-board and they've created a very varied album with "Welcome To The Other Side", where the classical passages are cleverly integrated into the METAL-Songs.
