If you haven't noticed, the song "Outlaw" is a different one than the original. The label who put this out 'edited' the song. It's almost completely different. Listen to the original album, or the Metal Blade Re-release to see for yourself.

The Metal Blade re-issue you are talking about. Is the one that has two bonus tracks? "Misty Morning Rain" and "You're All I Needed Tonight". Then if that is the case then I never heard of the "other" version. Sadly the link in this post dead, so i cannot check it out...

I had the original album when it came out. The High Voltage Records re-issue has the bad re-edit of "Outlaw". The Metal Blade version stayed faithful to the original. I don't know why they would want to mess with perfection, but it plays the chorus way too many times and the solo section is completely screwed up! If you get a chance, you gotta hear the original. I know you'll like it much better.
